After a shooting rampage left five people dead in a Raleigh neighborhood, the suspect, 15, is in custody

A Raleigh city official reported Thursday that five individuals, including a police officer, were shot and killed in the northeastern Raleigh neighborhood of Hedingham. According to police, the suspect is in their hands.
Raleigh Police Chief Estella Patterson announced the victims at the press conference on Friday morning. Officer Gabriel Torres of the Raleigh Police Department, age 29, Nicole Conners, age 53, Susan Karnatz, age 49, Mary Marshall, age 34, and James Thompson, age 16.
