President Biden’s press conference in Hanoi, Vietnam, following the G20 summit in New Delhi, India, ended abruptly on Sunday. While the president was speaking to reporters and answering a question, a member of his team interrupted and announced the end of questions by saying, “thank you everybody.” The president also thanked everyone and started to wander off-stage.
According to CNN, it was White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre who ended the president’s remarks. During the press conference, President Biden took five questions from reporters. As he was about to conclude, CNN’s Jeremy Diamond asked him about whether he prioritized the US’s strategic interests over human rights. Diamond later commented on CNN about Vietnam’s poor record in terms of political dissent and the president’s response.
President Biden ignored a question about his son, Hunter Biden, potentially being indicted and walked away from the podium. He also used the phrase “lying, dog-faced pony soldier” to describe those who don’t believe in global warming during his remarks. He stated that more people are now recognizing the problem of global warming and that it’s crucial to address it.
The White House has not responded to requests for comment on the press conference. For more news and coverage on Culture, Media, Education, Opinion, and other channels, visit foxnews.com/media.
