Despite receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis, a mother in Michigan named Tasha Kann, who refused to terminate her pregnancy, now faces a prognosis of less than a year to live, based on recent medical assessments tracking the progression of her aggressive illness.
Tasha Kann’s life took a profound turn last year when she was 20 weeks pregnant with her second child. At that time, she received the devastating news of being diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma grade III, an uncommon and aggressive malignant tumor. Medical experts strongly advised her to consider an abortion to facilitate her treatment, emphasizing that they would not proceed with the necessary medical interventions while she was pregnant. However, driven by her deeply held Christian beliefs, Kann chose to reject that option.
“My baby had no connection to my cancer, so ending her life wasn’t going to cure my cancer,” Kann explained in a recent interview on “Fox & Friends.”
Throughout this challenging ordeal, Tasha’s husband, Taylor Kann, demonstrated unwavering faith and support.
